Interactive pdf-document as a new service of Landegra Design

Have you ever thought, that there will be a day, when you get a possibility to navigate inside of pdf using buttons, just like on website? No need to scroll, just click the buttons.

Lately this kind of functionality was introduced in pdf. If you are not sure, how it works, we recommend to check out our books portfolio that we have made recently.

From now on you can say “goodbye” to old static pdf files as Landegra Design will happily help you with creation of interactivity in your books, magazines and any kind of advertising material. At the moment browser-integrated pdf-viewers do not support interactivity in PDFs, but we’re sure they will in a very short time.

Goodbye 2011

It was a very nice year for Landegra. First of all, it was the year Landegra officially became a company and made a lot of awesome stuff.

We started in June and during this period of time we created:

  • 18 Websites
  • 10 Books
  • 25 Printed design items (posters/ads/pages/business cards)
  • 6 Logotypes
  • 12 High-quality vector Illustrations
  • HUGE amount of animated and non-animated web banners and e-mail ads

And it is only a beginning 🙂

In 2012 our resolution is to become even better and bigger.

Fancy effects on soft covers are not that fancy

Hello my dear people,

Several weeks ago I received a copy of the book I had designed and was a bit disappointed and even a bit pissed off. I was prepared for everything but not for what I saw.

Nowadays publishing houses try to give their books more accent by adding various kinds of fancy effects as emboss, UV-varnish, foil.

Sometimes it works well, but most of the time it’s just spending money on a castle made of air. In some cases (soft covers) cool fancy effects on the front can even ruin the inside page and usually this page is used to put “about author” information on it.
